Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Scientist to manage government-owned environmental instrumentation. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and tracking environmental field equipment used in response to incidents involving hazardous substances and oil. You will be responsible for arranging preventative maintenance on generators, UTVs, trailers, and large mobile command post vehicles. Experience in equipment management, supply inventory, and customer service is essential. Proficiency in entering and tracking equipment and supplies, including the use of equipment tracking databases, is required.

Work Environment
The work schedule is weekdays from 8am to 5pm. Occasional delivery of equipment to job sites across PA, WV, MD, and VA is required, all travel conducted in company-provided fleet vehicles with reimbursable expenses. Monthly travel between Delaware County, PA warehouse and locations in Ft. Meade, VA, and Wheeling, WV is required. The office is located in Midtown, New York and provides a fun culture with opportunities for outings and happy hours. There are growth opportunities to advance to a supervisory role, and you will work under experienced senior staff. The company takes pride in the high caliber of work and offers to pay for any certifications needed during the first week of training.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
