Who are we looking for?
GHD has an opportunity for a mid-level Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist to work with our Contaminated Assessment Remediation (CAR) group as a CAR professional based in our Farmington Hills, MI office. If you are a self-motivated professional with excellent technical skills, federal/state/local environmental regulatory knowledge, and existing relationships with clients, prospects, and regulators then this is a great opportunity to explore!
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Using knowledge of various engineering and scientific disciplines, you may collect, synthesize, study, report, and recommend action based on data derived from measurements or observations of air, soil, water, waste and other sources. Work may include regulatory interpretation, site investigation, site remediation, environmental compliance and/or waste treatment/management.
Responsibilities of the position will be but are not limited to:
Conduct research or perform investigation for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or hazards that affect either the environment or the health of the population. Using knowledge of various scientific disciplines, may collect, synthesize, study, report, and recommend action based on data derived from measurements or observations of air, food, soil, water, and other sources.
