TTI is seeking a full-time Environmental Compliance Associate 1 to join our Environmental Consulting Division in the Environmental Compliance Program. This is a hybrid position – working from a home office, out of TTI’s Moorestown office, and clients’ sites. Responsibilities
Conduct client training (i.e. hazard communication, respiratory protection, LOTO, spill prevention, waste management, chemical handling, stormwater protection, etc.)
Proposal writing when requested
Assist with evaluating environmental and health & safety (EHS) regulatory compliance of facilities
Provide on-site support for client operations in industrial and educational campus settings, including monitoring programs associated with OSHA and site-specific safety plans, environmental operating permits, and other applicable federal and state environmental management plans
Provide support to the development, implementation, and management of EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable state and federal environmental standards
Assist clients in executing local, state, and federal EHS permitting, training, reporting, and corporate policy regulations for assigned locations
Recommended Skills and Qualifications
Occupational exposure monitoring experience
Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) and state equivalent planning experience
Familiarity with air, stormwater, and wastewater permitting
Attention to detail and capability to present data for management analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong aptitude for organization, prioritization, and management of multiple tasks and projects
Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
Experience with federal and state workers’ safety regulations
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and environmental reporting software
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel and work at local and remote sites as needed
Minimum 3 years of EHS industry experience
Must have a personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites when required
Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
