Entry Level Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer I to support quality processes across our aerospace manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer (approximately one year of experience, including internships or post‑graduate roles) who is eager to grow in a hands‑on quality engineering role. Reporting into the Quality organization, this role will focus on inspection planning, process definition, and quality system support across all three product lines: turbines, actuators, and power systems. We are looking for someone with a strong engineering foundation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review existing manufacturing and quality processes and support improvements aligned with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain inspection plans and inspection processes across multiple product lines
• Support internal manufacturing quality activities, including inspection readiness and process adherence
• Assist with supplier development activities, including quality requirements, evaluations, and corrective actions
• Help define and document quality procedures and work instructions
• Partner with inspectors, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure product quality and compliance
• Support ongoing and future ISO 9001 and AS9100 initiatives
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the Quality organization
• Contribute hands‑on support related to inspections and measurement methods (CMM experience is a plus; capability may be added in the future)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) concepts
• Exposure to inspection planning, process audits, or supplier quality activities
• Experience with dimensional inspection tools or CMM systems (not required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $51.00/hr.
