Job Title: Entry Controls Engineer
Job Description
As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing quality control systems and ensuring their implementation with all necessary safety features. You will develop and debug PLC and operator interface applications, provide long-term technical support, and assist in the startup and support of controls. Your responsibilities will also include creating technical manuals, supporting service technicians and customers during startup, and developing standards for machine controls and operator interfaces.

Work Environment
Work in an engineering setting with a large panel shop consisting of 18 people, with plans for growth. While the role does not accommodate remote work due to proximity to production, it offers flexible hours, typically from 8-5. Collaboration with other Application Engineers and reporting to Engineers will be a part of the daily routine. The position involves high customer interaction, requiring excellent communication skills. Daily, weekly, and monthly documentation/reporting procedures are essential. The company invests in motivated individuals, providing mentorship, training, and classes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
