You will be the Engineering Aide Specialist for the Engineering Support Team. Our team is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment and systems.



What You Will Be Doing

As the Engineering Aide Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment across multiple test areas.



Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Construct, troubleshoot, and diagnose electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on components, devices, and systems using schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Operate test equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed formats.
  • Manage tooling and equipment inventory across multiple storage facilities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and buyers to obtain quotes, repairs, and procure test equipment and supplies.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.


Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of a two-year degree program majoring in: Electronic engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related discipline.

OR,

• Two (2) years of military service with electronic education and applied experience.

• Electrical hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in reading schematics.
• Experience with analog and/or digital and mixed- signal circuits
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of the structure and manufacture of electrical components
• Experience with common electronic test equipment
• Experience with analog/digital and mixed-signal circuitry analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage various tasks under time-sensitive constraints
• Familiar with SAP
• Experience controlling and handling inventory
• Critical thinker
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
