Our services, in the core fields of underground mine backfill and dewatered mine tailings for surface disposal, include conceptual studies through to detail design, engineering design, procurement, construction support, commissioning, and project management for diverse clients in local and global mining markets. Additionally, with our expanded service offering we perform design work for ore handling systems, mine dewatering, wastewater treatment, pipeline services, fuel and lube station, ventilation, and other underground infrastructure.
- Deliver process designs that enhance efficiency and sustainability across mining operations including process calculations, schematics, process flow diagrams and P&IDs
- Analysis and design regarding mining and water-treatment related projects: process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specification, process modelling, mass balance, hydraulic analysis, 3D layout;
- Assist with performing conceptual, feasibility and detailed design work including equipment, and plant layouts
- Communication and coordination with team members and equipment vendors.
- Participating in WSP’s Health & Safety program
- Assisting with other project work as required
