Job Description

This position assists in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. As an Engineer in the design group, you will be actively involved in various assignments that contribute to the design and functionality of pipeline products, as well as the planning and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products.
  • Participate in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving the maintenance of mechanical equipment.
  • Perform system balances to determine optimal solutions for system issues or to identify system low points and methods to address them.
  • Provide oversight and support for construction activities.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of professional working experience within an engineering capacity.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil), open to Chemical.
  • Experience with project management, design, AutoCAD, pipeline design, utility design, mechanical design, linear projects, civil engineering, project controls, and DOT regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in MicroStation is a plus.
  • Ability to run stakeholder meetings with high-level leadership.
  • EIT certification is a plus.

Work Environment

Enjoy flexible working hours, starting between 7:00 and 8:30 AM, with an 8-hour workday. Benefit from a hybrid schedule, with 4 days in the office and Fridays remote.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
