Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients across banking engagements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, and technology stakeholders
- Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable engagement strategies
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth
- Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end program delivery across banking transformation initiatives
- Manage cross-functional teams including business analysts, consultants, data teams, and engineers
- Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope, and with high quality
- Drive Agile / Scrum execution, governance, and reporting
- Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and escalation handling
- Banking Domain Expertise
- Provide expertise across:
- Payments & Transaction Banking
- Corporate Lending & Credit
- Trade Finance & Treasury
- Capital Markets & Securities
- Guide clients on process optimization, system enhancements, and digital transformation
- Business Development & Growth
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and solutioning
- Collaborate with sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Contribute to practice development and thought leadership
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance consulting culture
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive presentations
- Manage stakeholder expectations across business, product, and technology teams
Qualifications
- 10–15+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services consulting or delivery roles
- Strong experience managing large-scale client engagements or programs
- Deep understanding of banking products, operations, and systems
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and client-facing roles
- Experience in Agile delivery, program management, and governance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Required Skills
- Prior experience in consulting firms (Big 4 or similar)
- Exposure to digital transformation, data/analytics, or core banking systems
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (KYC/AML, Basel, etc.)
