We are looking for a dynamic Engagement Manager with deep expertise in the Banking & Financial Services domain to lead client engagements, drive delivery excellence, and build long-term strategic relationships. About the Role



Key Responsibilities



Responsibilities



  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients across banking engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, and technology stakeholders
  • Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable engagement strategies
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth
  • Delivery Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end program delivery across banking transformation initiatives
  • Manage cross-functional teams including business analysts, consultants, data teams, and engineers
  • Ensure delivery of projects on time, within scope, and with high quality
  • Drive Agile / Scrum execution, governance, and reporting
  • Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and escalation handling
  • Banking Domain Expertise
  • Provide expertise across:
  • Payments & Transaction Banking
  • Corporate Lending & Credit
  • Trade Finance & Treasury
  • Capital Markets & Securities
  • Guide clients on process optimization, system enhancements, and digital transformation
  • Business Development & Growth
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, and solutioning
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth
  • Contribute to practice development and thought leadership
  • Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance consulting culture
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive presentations
  • Manage stakeholder expectations across business, product, and technology teams


Qualifications



  • 10–15+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services consulting or delivery roles
  • Strong experience managing large-scale client engagements or programs
  • Deep understanding of banking products, operations, and systems
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management and client-facing roles
  • Experience in Agile delivery, program management, and governance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills


Required Skills



  • Prior experience in consulting firms (Big 4 or similar)
  • Exposure to digital transformation, data/analytics, or core banking systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (KYC/AML, Basel, etc.)
