Job Description
Position Purpose:
This position is for the Energy Markets and Sustainability Services group at Veolia North America. Broadly, our team helps customers navigate the complexity of energy and sustainability markets with a focus on consulting & brokering for wholesale electricity and natural gas transactions. Ultimately, our role is to provide clients with market insight needed to make strategic decisions when purchasing energy, navigating sustainability initiatives, managing budgetary risk and reducing energy spend. This position will include meeting with clients to discuss their energy needs, researching and modeling energy policies and tariffs, creating energy budgets for clients, and much more.
Co-ops are full-time team members who are treated and valued as such! They are fully integrated into the Energy Markets and Sustainability Services team - working alongside everybody and being pulled into a host of projects, client meetings, etc. On our team, we make an intentional effort to integrate our co-ops throughout our work to provide them with the most valuable experience possible based on their personal goals. Outlined below are a set of generalized tasks that co-ops take on. Ultimately though, every co-op's experience will vary depending on their expressed interest in certain topics and tasks.

Pay Range:$25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Benefits: Interns are considered temporary employees. Medical and basic life insurance coverage is available to temporary employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week immediately following 60 days of service. Employees must elect or waive medical coverage within 45 days of their eligibility date.
