EMT Basic

The EMT-Basic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT-Basic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

Please note the following important details regarding this position:

• This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
• This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:

  • Texas: Lubbock

     

• Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
