The Employee Experience & Relations Specialist owns the execution and continuous improvement of employee relations processes and employee experience programs. This role serves as a primary point of contact for managers and employees on workplace matters, ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant handling of employee relations issues while driving engagement, culture, and development initiatives across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
Own end-to-end management of employee relations cases, including investigations, documentation, and resolution
Advise managers on performance issues, policy interpretation, and corrective actions
Lead and manage involuntary termination processes, including documentation, risk review, and coordination
Ensure consistent and compliant application of policies and practices
Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions
Employee Experience & Engagement
Own and execute employee engagement and culture initiatives
Plan and deliver employee events and recognition programs
Analyze employee feedback and drive improvements to engagement and retention
Learning & Development Support
Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and learning programs
Maintain training records and participation tracking
Support onboarding learning content and program delivery in partnership with Talent Acquisition and People Ops
Assist in managing external vendors and training providers
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with People Operations on policy updates and internal communications
Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
Ensure alignment between employee experience programs and broader People strategy
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience independently managing ER cases and involuntary terminations
Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills
Experience with employee engagement or L&D programs
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with HR systems and tools (ADP WFN experience preferred)
Required Qualifications:
Years of Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Work Experience
3–6 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or similar roles
Experience supporting a mid-sized organization (300–400+ employees)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience partnering with or supporting a global HQ or international stakeholders in a subsidiary environment
Working Conditions:
Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
$70,304-$90,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
