This role is based onsite at our office in downtown Edina, with travel to our locations throughout the Twin Cities as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an Employee Experience Business Partner (EXBP) who is passionate about connecting people, performance, and culture to drive meaningful business outcomes.

In this role, you'll partner closely with leaders across multiple sites or functions to strengthen organizational effectiveness, elevate leadership capability, and build an employee experience that supports both high performance and long-term engagement.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role-ideal for someone who can think strategically, act pragmatically, and build strong, high-trust relationships at every level of the organization.


WHAT YOU'LL DOPartner with Leaders to Drive Results
  • Align people strategies with business goals and operational priorities
  • Identify organizational needs and implement solutions that improve team effectiveness
  • Support and lead change initiatives that help the business grow and scale
Strengthen Talent & Performance
  • Drive performance practices that reinforce accountability, clarity, and development
  • Identify talent gaps and build strategies to develop strong internal pipelines
  • Partner with leaders on succession planning, team member development, and team effectiveness
Lead in Labor & Employee Relations
  • Support leaders in navigating union environments and administering collective bargaining agreements
  • Partner on grievance resolution, investigations, and contract interpretation
  • Build strong, respectful labor-management relationships
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations matters across the organization
Coach and Develop Leaders
  • Provide coaching on leadership, team dynamics, and employee development
  • Guide leaders through performance conversations, feedback, and decision-making
  • Help leaders build high-performing, engaged teams
Elevate the Employee Experience
  • Design and support initiatives that improve engagement and retention
  • Use employee feedback and data to inform decisions and improve outcomes
  • Champion a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Use Data, Technology & AI to Work Smarter
  • Leverage data and insights to guide workforce and organizational decisions
  • Utilize HR technology and emerging AI tools to streamline administrative work and increase efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce manual effort-freeing up time for more strategic, people-focused work
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  1. Education
    1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field required
    2. Certification Desired: SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM-SCP/CP certification
  2. Experience
    1. 5 years' of experience in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role
    2. Experience supporting multi-site and/or complex work environments
    3. Experience supporting large populations of hourly team members
    4. Demonstrated experience working in union environments and supporting labor relations activities
