Baylor Scott & White - Pflugerville features a 25-bed Main Nursing Unit which is a blended unit with three levels of acuity and operates from a multidisciplinary approach in providing the highest standards of nursing care to patients and families. The facility also offers 24/7 emergency services (an 8-bed Emergency Department) and surgical services (offering adult and pediatric surgeries).
Baylor Scott & White – Pflugerville is currently under construction for an expansion and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The improvements include a brand new heart catheterization lab for minimally invasive procedures, increased imaging options including nuclear medicine, added emergency and trauma services and improvements to operating room capabilities. As Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Pflugerville is a new and growing medical center, the health system is continuously working to create new services to provide to members of this community.

Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
