MajorDuties

  • Leads EEOC continuity and emergency management activities under PPD-40, PPD-8, NRF, NDRF, and FCD developing, evaluating, and revising training, plans, and procedures for mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery of incidents.
  • Reviews continuity capabilities, identifies gaps, and develops mitigation strategies. Oversees program offices to ensure operational readiness of EEOC Mission Essential Functions and Essential Supporting Activities.
  • Oversees and assists program offices in ensuring the operational capability of the EEOC’s Mission Essential Functions and Essential Supporting Activities.
  • Reviews and provides guidance on essential functions, risk assessments, and mitigation plans or procedures as well as identifying and advocating for EEOC-wide solutions to commonly identified risks to essential function performance.
  • Supports development, implementation, and training of Emergency Response Group (ERG) members. Serves as COOP subject matter expert during exercises and deployments to the Alternate Relocation Facility (ARF).
  • Updates and submits EEOC monthly continuity assessments, quarterly Federal Continuity Assessment Tool reports, and Continuity and Reconstitution Status Reports to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
  • Oversees the EEOC Test, Training, and Exercise program, including planning, conducting, and evaluating tests, drills, and exercises, and providing or assisting staff training before, during, and after events or incidents.
