Electronics Technician

Overview

The Electronics Technician tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems. This role applies electronic principles and testing methods to ensure quality, reliability, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical assemblies to the component level
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
  • Perform automated and manual testing using specialized equipment
  • Calibrate and adjust units; document results and non-conformance reports
  • Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, KPIs, Standard Work)
  • Maintain test records and equipment documentation
  • Assist with training and technical support of other technicians
  • Work overtime as needed
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent education
  • Strong troubleshooting and circuit-level repair skills
  • Manufacturing or repair environment experience
  • Proficiency with computer systems and test software
  • Excellent communication and manual dexterity
  • Assembly and soldering experience preferred
Work Environment

Manufacturing setting requiring PPE. Primarily seated work at a bench using computers and microscopes. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
