Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electronics Technician to support our customer in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technician with strong experience in communications equipment, RF technology and electronics. This candidate must be a self-starter and self-motivated, able to work collaboratively with others but also with general/minimal guidance and oversight at times. The technician must have strong experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, integration, and maintenance of advanced communication systems. You will have the opportunity to work onsite alongside other technicians, engineers and professionals at various customer locations, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced and
challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, tools and technologies to support both legacy
and new communications systems across many areas of support, to include the following:
• Assembly & Maintenance
o Assemble and configure electronics and communications systems according to specifications.
o Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and upgrades on equipment and antennas.
o Create and maintain detailed documentation for all work to systems.
• Testing & Troubleshooting
o Execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for RF and electronic systems.
o Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, often in urgent and high-priority
scenarios.
o Document issues, test results and corrective actions accurately.
• Integration Support
o Support integration of new systems and components into existing infrastructure.
o Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on communications equipment and antenna
systems.
• Customer & Team Interaction
o Work closely with a small and highly effective team to support various customers in
understanding their needs to provide technical support and meet their requirements.
o Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure project success.
o Communicate project status and technical information effectively to peers & leadership.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military
experience.
• 10+ years of proven hands-on experience with electronics, RF or communications systems.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and testing electronics and systems.
• Experience with technical requirements and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with customers and peers.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-stress, high-speed environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment (crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses,
connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.)
• Experience working hands-on with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, oscilloscopes
and/or other RF test equipment.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
