Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

This role focuses on performing renovations and retrofits on industrial and commercial electrical projects. You will install and maintain 480V 3-phase power systems, run and bend conduit, and interpret blueprints to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient electrical installations on complex job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical renovations and retrofits on industrial and commercial projects, ensuring work meets applicable codes and safety standards.
  • Run and bend conduit from 3/4" to 4" using EMT and RIGID, maintaining precision and quality in all installations.
  • Install and troubleshoot 480V 3-phase power systems for a variety of applications.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.
  • Coordinate work with other trades and project team members to maintain schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Support and train apprentices in proper electrical techniques, safety practices, and project standards.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and locations while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes while adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 years of experience as an Electrician in industrial and/or commercial environments.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency installing and working with 480V 3-phase power systems.
  • Demonstrated experience running and bending conduit up to 4", including EMT and RIGID.
  • Solid understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and safe work practices.
  • Capability to lead by example and support the development of apprentices on site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in data centers is preferred.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different project sites as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and timelines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with field and project staff.

Work Environment

You will initially work at a data center site in South Phoenix, with typical start times between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. The standard schedule is a 40-hour work week, with the possibility of overtime as project demands increase. Saturday work is optional and depends on workload. Upcoming projects in locations such as Tucson and Flagstaff may require travel for a few days at a time, with travel expenses and lodging provided. The environment is field-based and fast-paced, focusing on large-scale industrial and commercial installations in active construction and data center settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
