Journeyman/Commercial Electricians in Nashville, TN!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team and contribute to various new construction projects in the greater Nashville area. You will be responsible for executing electrical plans, installing systems, and ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
  • Install electrical devices and fixtures such as switches, circuit-breaker panels, fire alarm systems, plugs, and lighting.
  • Pull wire and bend and install conduit.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, install, and/or replace wires.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience in bending and installing EMT conduit.
  • Knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical theory.
  • Possession of a Journeyman certification is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid training are advantageous.
  • Experience with rigid conduit is ideal.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Work Environment

Work on new construction projects in the greater Nashville area, with the first project near John C Tune airport. The position is Monday to Friday, first shift, starting between 6:00am - 7:00am, generally working 8-hour days. Be prepared for overtime during the week and potential Saturday work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
