Day ShiftDescription:Holy Cross Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our engineering team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the hospital to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.What you will do:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to support hospital operations.
Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
Assist in planning and executing electrical projects and upgrades.
What is required:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
Valid electrician’s license in the state of Florida is highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials as needed.
