Travel Journeyman Electrician $68/hr + $100 Per diem

Location: Chouteau, Oklahoma

Job Description

Install and secure solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, or other structures using hand and power tools. Mount racking systems, inverters, and related hardware according to design specifications. Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical code requirements, even when electrical work is minimal. Perform basic electrical tasks as needed such as connecting equipment, verifying grounding, and inspecting conduit runs. Conduct site assessments and ensure proper measurements, layout, and placement of solar equipment. Follow all OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe job site. Collaborate with installation crews, project managers, and inspectors to ensure successful project completion. Document work performed and assist with quality checks or inspections.

Work Environment

Outdoor solar farm with a schedule of 6 days a week, consisting of 5 days at 10 hours each and 1 day at 8 hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68.56 - $68.56/hr.
