Electrician- 2nd Shift I | Industrial Manufacturing Leader

We’re looking for an Electrician I to join a leading manufacturing facility in Akron, OH on the 2nd shift. If you have hands-on experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance—and enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment—this is a great opportunity to build a stable, long-term career.

What You’ll Do:

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for machinery and building equipment
• Connect and integrate electrical systems across machines and facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving transformers, motors, MCC panels, VFDs, and lighting systems
• Work with 3-phase power systems (480/277 VAC, 120/208 VAC, 120/240 VAC)
• Maintain electrical services for data center and facility-wide systems
• Support and maintain building-wide electrical distribution networks
• Replace faulty components such as relays, switches, motors, sensors, and circuit boards
• Maintain interior, exterior, emergency, and parking lot lighting systems
• Plan and install wiring layouts, conduit, and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork
• Manage tools, equipment, and inventory effectively
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and motor controls
• Understanding of logic control systems and low voltage systems
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with a focus on safety and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

💵 Pay: $31.00 – $34.00/hour
