Wastewater Electrical Superintendent

Marolf Environmental is seeking a highly experienced Wastewater Electrical Superintendent to lead complex electrical operations across wastewater treatment facilities and environmental infrastructure projects.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, understands large-scale electrical systems, and is passionate about delivering safe, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure that protects communities and the environment.
What You’ll Do:
Field Leadership & Execution:
- Lead all electrical construction activities on wastewater treatment and pump station projects
- Supervise multiple crews, subcontractors, and foremen
- Ensure installation meets design specifications, codes, and environmental compliance standards
- Oversee commissioning, start-up, and system testing of electrical systems
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material logistics across job sites
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Work closely with Project Managers and engineers on execution strategy
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, and control systems (SCADA experience a plus)
- Develop look-ahead schedules and ensure milestone delivery
- Identify field challenges early and implement practical solutions
Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce OSHA standards and Marolf Environmental safety policies
- Lead safety meetings and site inspections
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental and electrical regulations
Quality & Documentation:
- Oversee QA/QC processes for all electrical installations
- Track progress, productivity, and field reporting
- Support commissioning documentation and closeout packages
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Electrician
- 7+ years electrical construction experience, preferably wastewater, water treatment, or heavy civil infrastructure
- Proven experience leading large field teams
- Strong understanding of control systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and instrumentation drawings
- OSHA compliance and safety leadership experience
