Electrical Industrial Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Electrical Industrial Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA. Ideally looking for applicants with strong NPI and process optimization expertise who can lead aerospace industrialization, validate production readiness, and drive efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Title: Electrical Industrial Engineer

Job Location: Carson, CA (Onsite)

Job Duration: 06 months contract

Industrial Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead industrialization & NPI projects for electrical aerospace components from design to production ramp-up
• Perform capacity/capability studies, PFMEA, VSM, and Run-at-Rate to ensure process readiness and efficiency
• Drive process optimization, troubleshooting, and Lean initiatives across manufacturing lines

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering with strong electrical manufacturing / industrialization experience (4–6+ years)
• Proven expertise in NPI, PFMEA, VSM, capacity planning, and process validation (Run-at-Rate)
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, production line setup, and cross-functional project management
