Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead a medical office fit-out project in Nexton, off North Creek Drive. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day electrical installation activities for a retail-style medical office buildout. The successful candidate will have strong field leadership skills, the ability to read and interpret plans, and the capability to actively participate in installations while supervising a small crew.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work directly from electrical plans and specifications.
• Plan installation methods and sequencing to ensure efficient execution of work.
• Perform electrical installation work alongside the crew, embracing a hands-on foreman role.
• Supervise and direct two electricians during daily tasks.
• Coordinate with a higher-level superintendent for guidance and project oversight.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with code.
• Assist with troubleshooting, installation challenges, and field problem-solving.
• Maintain productivity, workmanship standards, and schedule commitments.

Essential Skills

• Electrical foreman experience or equivalent leadership experience in the field.
• Strong ability to read and understand commercial electrical plans.
• Hands-on experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, and circuitry.
• Comfortable with bending and installing pipe (EMT and similar).
• Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to lead, communicate, and work effectively with a small crew.

Work Environment

This role is based in Nexton, off North Creek Drive, working on a commercial/retail-style medical office building. The position requires working Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Summerville,SC.
