Electrical Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of electronic systems that power advanced commercial products. This role plays a key part in both new product innovation and continuous improvement efforts, providing technical leadership across electrical hardware design, embedded firmware development, and system-level integration.

The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and is motivated by delivering high‑quality, reliable solutions that enhance the user experience. This is a hands-on engineering role that balances architecture-level thinking with practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to product development initiatives in partnership with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
  • Support programs from early concept through production release, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability goals.
  • Develop system-level architectures, requirements, schematics, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping, design validation, and iterative improvements to refine electrical and embedded system performance.
  • Design and implement electrical circuits for sensing, control, power management, and communication functions.
  • Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware to support product functionality, robustness, and long-term reliability.
  • Conduct engineering analyses, design reviews, and troubleshooting activities throughout development and transition to production.
  • Evaluate test data, prototype behavior, and field performance to guide design decisions and mitigate technical risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define functional and production test methods that ensure product readiness.
  • Support manufacturing through design updates, documentation improvements, and hands-on problem-solving during ramp-up.
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance, quality processes, and documentation associated with electronic products.
  • Serve as a technical resource to guide smooth handoffs between development, manufacturing, and sustaining engineering.
  • Work independently on complex engineering tasks while actively contributing within a team environment.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in hardware design, embedded development, and system integration.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical design, embedded systems, or electronic product development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in electronic hardware design, prototyping, and laboratory-based testing.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and validating embedded software.
  • Proficiency with common engineering tools for schematic development, measurement, and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with low-power electronics, sensors, wireless or wired communication interfaces, or data-enabled system architectures.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and certification processes for electronic products.
  • Experience in connected product development or IoT‑enabled systems.

Why This Role Matters

This position offers the opportunity to influence the electrical architecture of innovative, real-world products while collaborating with a team that values technical excellence, practical engineering, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy designing electronics that perform in demanding environments, solving meaningful engineering challenges, and contributing to products that customers depend on, this role will be a rewarding fit.Exper
