BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated CE Facility Support Engineer – Electrical 2 for an opportunity with our client.


Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer – Electrical 2

Location: Des Moines (West Des Moines Campus) – Onsite

Duration: 2 months +

(40 hours/week, possible shift rotations)


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily electrical equipment readings (voltage, current, temperature)
  • Follow SOPs for critical environment operations
  • Support UPS systems maintenance (quarterly & annual)
  • Perform preventive maintenance:
  • Control panels
  • Batteries
  • Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of sensors
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and security procedures
  • Support energizing cabinets in colocation environments


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in electrical/technical environments (data centers, manufacturing, oil & gas, hospitals, etc.)
  • Experience with electrical systems in critical infrastructure
  • OSHA or NFPA 70E certification (mandatory)
  • Basic knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work flexible/rotating shifts


Preferred

  • Data center experience
  • Qualified Electrical Worker certification


Top 3 Must-Have Skills

  1. Electrical systems experience in critical environments (3+ years)
  2. OSHA / NFPA 70E Certification
  3. Troubleshooting & maintenance of electrical equipment
