Position: TS/SCI Electrical Engineer III
Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23461
Length: 6 month contract-to-hire
Rate: $110,000 - $160,000
(Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education)
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 6+ years of full‑time professional experience as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer
- 4+ years of experience in:
- Systems engineering on COE or EW programs
- Fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence missions (ashore and afloat)
- Engineering support for U.S. Navy and warfare systems, including systems integration impacts on mission performance and interoperability
- 3+ years of experience in:
- COE/EW concepts and operational deployment
- Radio Frequency (RF) design and analysis, including:
- Propagation prediction and measurement
- Receiver modeling and analysis
- Signal detection and characterization
- Non‑cooperative demodulation of signals of interest
- Antenna array modeling
- Operating systems: Windows and Linux
Key Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering activities on COE and EW programs supporting military intelligence operations
- Support integration of tactical electronic systems across U.S. Navy platforms
- Analyze system impacts related to:
- Distribution systems
- Mission performance
- Interoperability
- Support COE/EW deployment concepts and operational use
- Apply RF engineering principles to design, analysis, and system performance evaluation
- Work within Windows and Linux operating systems environments
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and program teams to ensure system effectiveness and compliance
