Electrical Engineer (RF / Microwave)

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

This position focuses on the design and development of RF and microwave components, supporting projects from early concept through full production.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, hands-on, and excited to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where they can see their designs come to life. This role offers meaningful exposure to customers, manufacturing, and cross-functional collaboration—an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys wearing multiple hats and contributing to a company with strong growth projections.

On-Site | Patterson, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Design passive RF/microwave components, including high-power, wideband directional couplers and combiners
• Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations for design analysis and verification of complex RF structures
• Develop detailed RF circuit layouts using CAD tools
• Build and support PCB prototypes, including design-for-manufacturability considerations
• Test and validate designs using network analyzers and other RF test equipment
• Drive projects from initial concept and prototyping through production release
• Lead or contribute to fabrication and production support of RF circuit designs
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers throughout the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE)
• Coursework in RF and Microwave Engineering
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering theory
• Experience with RF & Microwave components
• Hands-on experience with PCB design and production
• Proficiency with EM simulation tools
• Experience testing RF circuits using network analyzers
• Minimum GPA: 3.0+ (3.4+ preferred)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with Microwave Office or similar EM simulation software
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor
• Prior exposure to manufacturing environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

This is a Permanent position based out of Patterson, NY.

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
