Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing / Test
Location: Northern New Jersey (On-Site)
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support product testing, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement for electronic systems. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and production—ideal for someone who enjoys both lab work and real-world problem solving on the floor.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with engineering and production to support product launch and manufacturing
- Test and validate electronic hardware and embedded systems
- Develop and maintain test fixtures and automated test setups
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis
- Analyze failed/returned units and implement corrective actions
- Maintain test documentation and support revision control
- Assist with compliance and quality initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or production environments
- Strong analog/digital troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Familiarity with SMT/PCB manufacturing processes
- Experience with LabVIEW or similar test automation tools
- Embedded systems knowledge; C programming required
- Python experience a plus
