Description for Electrical Engineer:
The Electrical Engineer will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical hardware solutions for new and existing products. This role will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to PCB design, hardware development, troubleshooting, and project execution.
Responsibilities for Electrical Engineer:
· Support the design, development, and validation of electrical hardware systems and components.
· Participate in hardware design projects from concept through production.
· Develop and review schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting design documentation.
· Assist with prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development initiatives.
· Coordinate project activities and manage assigned tasks to meet project timelines and objectives.
· Communicate technical information effectively with domestic and global teams.
· Support continuous improvement efforts related to product performance, quality, and reliability.
· Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable standards and company requirements.
Requirements for Electrical Engineer:
Required
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
· 0-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
· Background in hardware design through academic projects, internships, co-ops, or professional experience.
· Knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) design and development.
· Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize activities and adapt to changing priorities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Preferred
· Experience using Altium Designer.
· Direct experience with intrinsically safe products.
· Experience with gas detection equipment.
