Electrical Manufacturing Engineer - Boston - Well-Funded Quantum Startup

The Oho Group have partnered with a startup building the future of quantum computing who are seeking an engineer with experience in electronic packaging and manufacturing.

The role focuses on manufacturability, documentation, and supplier coordination across high-performance electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, working closely with engineering and external manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCBs in Altium with a view to manufacture
• Prepare and manage manufacturing and assembly documentation packages
• Support electronic packaging, PCB assembly, and electro-mechanical integration activities
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews to improve manufacturability, reliability, and yield
• Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve production issues
• Maintain BOMs, CAD libraries, drawings, and PLM workflows
• Develop assembly, inspection, and production test procedures

Requirements

• Experience with electronics manufacturing and packaging environments
• Strong understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and production processes
• PCB CAD experience
• Familiarity with PLM/configuration management tools
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
