Electrical Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design or Test Engineering Design role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and computer architectures.
  • Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts and principles:
  • Sources of measurement error
  • Appropriate selection of instrumentation and equipment
  • Understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Integration of hardware and software
  • Bill of Materials creation and review
  • Familiarity with CAD and PCB design tools
  • Statistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R)


Preferred Skills:

  • Hands on use of schematic capture tools and PCB design tools
  • Knowledge in Component Supplier Selection
  • Knowledge in Compliance Certifications (CE, UL, TUV, Etc.)
  • Hands on use of Hardware Platforms and Instruments
  • Hands on use of LabVIEW and Test Stand


Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage with a diverse range of customers, external alliance partners, and suppliers to design, implement, and sustain custom solutions.
  • Create requirements documents, statements of work, and Bills of Materials.
  • Define and execute project plans, lead milestones, and conduct reviews to ensure systems meet requirements and are ready for deployment.
  • Specify, design, prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated solutions.
  • Direct support personnel, oversee project technical deliverables, guide technical decisions, and resolve field issues.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%) to support project objectives.
