We have an immediate opportunity for an AutoCAD Drafter in the Salt Lake County Utah area that will design underground and aerial telecom construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create sketches, layouts, plans, and drawings for telecom underground and aerial construction projects.
- Develop, modify, and review drawings according to client and/or company drafting standards.
- Follow City Requirements and Utility Specifications.
- Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for engineering review.
- Participate in design review meetings.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years’ experience utilizing AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
- Must have construction knowledge in Telecom, Electrical, or Structural.
- Must have the physical ability to walk job sites to measure poles and check utility separations.
- Must have a Valid driver's license and have the ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Proficient use of MS Office application including TEAMS, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Overtime required during busy season
