Cedar Park Med is seeking Echo Technicians for immediate job openings.
Shift: 8hrs, 5 days, 7:30a -5:00p, weekend rotation, no call, and covering both inpatient and outpatient facilities.
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! 📍 Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***
Requirements:
- Cardiac ultrasound experience
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International or must have six months of full-time paid experience in the operation of an EKG machine within the last three years
- Experience with terminology and EKG rhythms is required.
- Associates Degree in related health field preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Duties:
- Responsible for processing EKG's for patient care in hospital and clinic settings
- Studies performed include 2-D and 3-D echo exams, Transesophageal Echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic Stress echocardiograms, and also participation in Echo's performed during procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center.
- Transcribe, edit and distribute EKC's to patient care areas for inclusion in medical record.
- Will need to be able to scan, process and distribute Holter Monitor tests results to the Cardiologist for review and then edit for inclusion in patient medical record.
- Will provide quality control feedback to the floors performing EKC's.
