E&I Technician

Our client, a microencapsulation mfg. co. is seeking a E&I Technician to join their team. As a E&I Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting plant maintenance. The ideal candidate will have blueprint reading experience, be able to troubleshoot PLC's and strong mechanical maintenance skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: E&I Technician 3rd shift

Location: Portage WI

Pay Range: $68-88/k + shift differential

What’s the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, machines and buildings.
• Analyze and solve electrical/electronic/control problems and assist manufacturing personnel on process-related problems.
• Ensuring proper operation of all control system components to include: electronic components, analyzers, on/off valves, control valves solenoids, limit switches, DCS and related I/O modules
• Performs preventative maintenance and establishes new PM activities as needed
• Involvement in installation of machinery, machine moves and plant rearrangements.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED or Associate's Degree along with a  minimum of two (2) years of electrical/electronic or instrument & control troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or production environment
• Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call and holidays
• Experience reading and following control scheme, electrical and maintenance schematics/blueprints
