Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the strategic oversight and optimization of all warehouse and distribution operations
  • Focus on driving significant improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service levels
  • Seasoned leader with a proven ability to develop and execute complex distribution strategies, manage multiple teams, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Oversee Inbound, Packing and Pickers in their operational responsibilities with three supervisors
  • Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies aligned with overall company objectives
  • Develop and manage organizational structure to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead the development and execution of major projects, such as warehouse expansions, system implementations, or process redesigns
  • Lead the implementation of advanced lean methodologies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity
  • Lead and develop a team of distribution managers and supervisors, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure the growth and success of team members
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against strategic goals and drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and standardized processes across all distribution facilities
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, carriers, and other external partners
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to complex distribution challenges
  • Participate in budget development and control
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the distribution organization
  • Champion a culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement throughout the distribution organization

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in engineering operations, business or other applicable study 
  • 5 years of experience

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff
  • Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $88,000.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
