A growing engineering organization is seeking a Distribution Engineer II to support its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) electrical design group. This role contributes to the planning, engineering, and design of power delivery, electrical systems, and substation solutions. Engineers in this group are collaborative, solutions-oriented professionals who work proactively within multidisciplinary project teams. This position supports innovative approaches that improve efficiency, reliability, and resilience across power delivery systems.
Responsibilities
The work environment varies based on location. If located in San Diego, the position requires four days in the office, non-negotiable. In Portland, OR, a possible hybrid model is available, although the engineering team does not work in the office. This is a highly communicative remote position, requiring the ability to keep on top of internal messages and contribute in remote meetings. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
