Job Title: Distribution Designer
Job Description

We are seeking a talented Distribution Designer/Engineer to join our team in Linthicum Heights, MD. In this role, you will work closely with a leading engineering firm and support a variety of electrical projects. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in BGE processes, standards, and technical specifications for both commercial and residential project types.

Responsibilities

  • Collect information from client stakeholders and end users to create preliminary design packages.
  • Develop detailed design packages that meet BGE standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with drafters, designers, and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working on BGE electric distribution projects.
  • Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, and GIS.
  • Strong skills in distribution design and electrical design.
  • Ability to work independently on BGE projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Asset Suite 8 workload management system.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of drafting and power distribution.
Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linthicum Heights, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
