RATE OF PAY - $20.00 to $25.00/hour
Overview:
Coordinate and schedule the delivery of goods from the Distribution Center to franchise stores.Maintain communications with all interested parties throughout the delivery process to insure and facilitate the best possible product delivery and service.
Responsibilities
Maintain complete and accurate driver schedule.Dispatch fleet at distribution center and related hubs ensuring that all routes are staffed appropriately.Track status of vehicles and equipment.Respond to driver calls, assist with breakdowns and accidents.Maintain accurate records on the movement of goods to store locations.Works with supervisors to schedule drivers for next shift.Process People Net trips from driver computers.Ensures compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service. Tracks over/under hours for route drivers.Creates various reports (weekly mileage, fuel, late truck, etc.).Create Driver Route Books.Track delivery performance and advise stores and Member Services of any delays.Reviews timecards and People Net for Drivers and Delivery Assistants and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required1 - 3 Years of transportation industry experienceKnowledge of DOT rules and regulations is desiredProficient computer knowledge (advanced preferred)Good mathematical skillsProblem solving and decision-making abilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent Interpersonal SkillsTeam PlayerFlexible to varying work schedules#IND123
