Our 288-room upscale, full-service Hyatt hotel in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Director of Revenue to join our dynamic executive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced revenue professional — or a high-performing Revenue Manager ready for their first Director role — to make a meaningful impact on total hotel performance.

Why This Role Is Exciting

  • Lead revenue strategy for a complex, full-service asset with diverse demand segments
  • Hands-on opportunity to drive total hotel revenue, not just rooms
  • Strong brand support, systems, and development opportunities within the Hyatt portfolio
  • Collaborative leadership culture with direct access to ownership and executive decision-making

What You’ll Be Responsible For

As Director of Revenue, you will be the strategic driver of topline performance, responsible for maximizing rooms, F&B, meetings & events, and other ancillary revenue streams.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue optimization strategies across rooms, group, transient, and negotiated business
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range demand planning with a strong focus on accuracy and agility
  • Analyze market trends, competitive performance, and demand drivers to inform pricing and distribution decisions
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align commercial strategy

Expanded Focus on Ancillary & F&B Revenue:

  • Collaborate with F&B leadership to drive outlet-level performance, including:
    • Menu pricing strategy and contribution margin analysis
    • Demand-based pricing for outlets, lounges, and special events
    • Optimization of group and banquet pricing strategies
  • Support revenue growth through packaging, up-sell, and cross-sell initiatives (rooms + dining, meetings, experiences)
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue from:
    • Meetings & events
    • Catering and social business
    • Parking, early arrival/late departure, and other hotel services
  • Use data and forecasting to assist Operations in labor alignment and profitability, not just topline growth

Leadership & Execution:

  • Facilitate weekly revenue strategy meetings and present insights to senior leadership and ownership
  • Optimize channel mix and distribution strategy while maintaining brand standards and rate integrity
  • Fully leverage Hyatt systems, RMS tools, and brand analytics platforms
  • Coach, mentor, and develop revenue or reservations team members as applicable

Digital Presence, Third-Party Optimization & Business Travel Support

• Drive website performance and direct booking growth through conversion optimization, strategic merchandising, and alignment of offers with demand patterns
• Partner with Marketing to enhance SEO, content strategy, and on-site user experience to strengthen brand.com performance
• Lead OTA and third-party channel strategy, including rate positioning, parity, content optimization, and use of visibility tools across platforms such as Expedia and Booking.com
• Analyze and optimize channel mix to balance direct and indirect business, improving cost of acquisition while maintaining market share
• Collaborate on integrated digital campaigns across brand.com, paid media, and metasearch to support demand generation
• Support Business Travel initiatives through pricing strategy, account evaluation, and optimization of negotiated and corporate segments
• Provide strategic support to on-site Sales and Commercial leadership to drive account production, market share, and overall revenue performance
• Monitor digital trends, platform changes, and competitive positioning to continuously refine distribution and marketing strategies

What We’re Looking For

  • Background in hotel revenue management or analytics (upscale or full-service preferred)
  • Strong understanding of pricing, forecasting, demand analysis, and distribution strategy
  • Experience or exposure to total hotel revenue management, including F&B and ancillary streams
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner across departments
  • Comfortable presenting strategy to executive leadership and ownership
  • Hyatt systems experience preferred, not required
  • First-time Directors of Revenue are encouraged to apply if ready to take strategic ownership and lead

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with bonus potential
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Career growth opportunities within the Hyatt global portfolio
  • Supportive onboarding and leadership development environment
  • The opportunity to leave your mark on a high-visibility hotel in a thriving market
