Director of Professional Services - Home Health

Medi Home Health Agency, a proud member of the Medical Services of America, Inc. family, currently seeks an experienced Full-Time Director of Professional Services to join our Home Health team in New River Valley, Virginia.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated individual to join a rapidly growing agency!

Responsibilities:

• General oversight of patient care and effective management of utilization of services.
• Coordination of agency functions.
• Oversee/supervise team of clinical and non-clinical staff including full-time & PRN RNs, LPNs, PTs, OTs, and Home Health Aides

Job Requirements

• Progressive clinical and management experience in a home health setting strongly preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of VA
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years in a MEDICARE CERTIFIED home health agency setting required.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws and guidelines pertaining to Home health and Medicare.
• High level management skills needed to be successful in the role as a leader to include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication and coaching/mentoring others.
