🚨 Director of Pharmacy Procurement & Strategic Sourcing w/ 340B Experience

📍 Boston, MA | Full-Time I Fully Onsite

We’re partnering with a leading health system to hire a Director of Pharmacy Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to lead enterprise-wide pharmacy sourcing strategy across inpatient, outpatient, retail, infusion, and community hospital settings.

This role will own procurement governance, supplier strategy, and cost optimization — ensuring reliable medication supply and operational consistency across the system.

💼 What You’ll Own

  • Lead pharmacy procurement strategy across all sites and purchasing channels (WAC, GPO, 340B, and alternative distribution models)
  • Establish procurement governance, policies, and controls to drive consistency and reduce cost variability
  • Oversee supplier relationships across wholesalers, manufacturers, and specialty distributors
  • Drive sourcing strategy, vendor performance management, and contract alignment
  • Partner with Pharmacy, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate purchasing data, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, optimize spend, and enhance supply chain performance
  • Support and align procurement strategies within 340B environments

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in pharmacy supply chain, procurement, or drug sourcing
  • Experience managing large, complex pharmacy spend ($1B+)
  • Strong knowledge of GPOs, wholesalers, and contract compliance
  • Experience working in or supporting 340B programs
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive enterprise-wide initiatives

🎓 Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PharmD) preferred
  • 340B ACE certification is a plus
