How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Standardize surgical scheduling governance across all facilities to optimize prime time utilization, improve access, and ensure scheduling integrity (block management, release policies, and case accuracy).
  • Drive operational and financial performance by strengthening charge capture processes, preference card governance, and alignment with supply chain and revenue cycle to reduce missed charges and improve cost management.
  • Establish a unified KPI framework and executive dashboard infrastructure that provides a single source of truth for access, throughput, financial performance, and surgeon-level transparency.
  • Lead cross-facility performance improvement initiatives targeting key metrics (e.g., utilization, first case on-time starts, turnover time) and reduce unwarranted variation across sites.
  • Partner with executive and facility leadership to translate data into actionable strategies, reinforce accountability through performance reviews, and drive sustainable system-level improvement.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • 5+ years experience in surgical services, perioperative operations, or healthcare performance improvement
  • Advanced understanding of surgical scheduling, revenue integrity, and OR operational analytics
  • Experience building executive-level KPI dashboards and performance review structures
