Raven Rocks Precision
Fredericksburg, VA

Director of Operations

Full-Time | In-Person | Fredericksburg, VA

Compensation: $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and demonstrated capability

Position Overview

Raven Rocks Precision is hiring a Director of Operations to build and scale the operational backbone of a rapidly growing e-commerce and wholesale business.

This role is for someone who wants to turn operational complexity into scalable systems.

We operate a multi-warehouse fulfillment network and are entering a new phase of growth, including exclusive nationwide wholesale partnerships and the launch of a custom B2B portal.

This role is not about maintaining an existing system. It is about building one.

You will be responsible for creating structure across inventory, fulfillment, logistics, and operational processes. You will identify where things break, improve them, and build systems that scale.

This is a high-ownership, data-driven role for someone who thinks in systems, solves problems from first principles, and executes at a high level.

Compensation will grow with demonstrated impact on operational performance.

About Raven Rocks Precision

Raven Rocks Precision is a fast-growing distributor of ammunition components serving both direct-to-consumer and wholesale customers nationwide.

We have grown by focusing on execution, inventory discipline, and operational efficiency. We move quickly, solve problems directly, and expect systems to improve over time.

This is a small, high-performing team where ownership and accountability matter.

What You Will Own

  • Inventory accuracy and flow across multiple warehouses
  • Fulfillment performance and operational efficiency
  • Warehouse structure, labor performance, and accountability
  • Shipping strategy and logistics optimization
  • SOP creation and operational standardization
  • B2B operational execution

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain leadership
  • Experience building or significantly improving operational systems, not just maintaining existing ones
  • Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, process control, warehouse flow, and fulfillment operations
  • Strong data analysis capability using spreadsheets and operational software
  • Ability to use data to identify problems, validate solutions, and measure performance
  • Experience building or using reports to track accuracy, speed, labor efficiency, and operational KPIs
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills, including SOP creation and process standardization
  • Experience managing people and holding teams accountable to clear performance standards
  • High level of ownership, urgency, and follow-through
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with incomplete structure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce, wholesale, distribution, or multi-warehouse operations
  • Experience with systems such as ShipStation, cloud based inventory management softwares, Katana, ERP/WMS/CRM platforms, or similar tools
  • Experience improving inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed, and warehouse efficiency in a growing business
  • Experience leading operational change in a small to mid-sized company

Who This Role Is For

  • You think in systems, not tasks
  • You are comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
  • You use data to drive decisions
  • You want to build something, not just manage it
  • You are energized by operational problems that need real structure

Who This Role Is Not For

  • Someone looking for a stable, predefined environment
  • Someone who prefers maintaining existing processes rather than building better ones
  • Someone who avoids ambiguity, accountability, or measurable performance expectations

If you are interested in building scalable systems inside a growing company, we would like to hear from you.
