Description

Our client is a premium fireplace manufacturer distributing high-end indoor and outdoor fireplace products across North America. We're looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee our order management, warehouse, inventory, and freight logistics functions. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll manage a team of six and serve as the primary point of contact between our US operations and our headquarters in Israel.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

Oversee end-to-end processing of customer orders for fireplaces and spare parts. Maintain deep product knowledge, track open sales orders, and deliver proactive communication to dealers and customers across our national network.

Freight & Logistics

Manage LCL (Less than Container Load) international shipments from Israel, prepare customs documentation, coordinate domestic freight, and process parcel shipments via UPS/USPS. Obtain air freight quotes as needed and manage overall US freight costs.

Inventory & Warehouse

Lead cycle counts and annual inventory audits, manage FIFO-based order fulfillment, issue and track purchase orders to Israel and third-party vendors, and process GRVs. Ensure proper fireplace reservation and availability tracking.

Cross-Functional Support

Support Regional Sales Managers with customer account data, coordinate logistics for 3–4 trade shows annually, and serve as the US-side operations liaison with Israel. Identify and champion opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.

Required

  • 5+ years in operations, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Experience with international freight and customs documentation
  • Proficiency with ERP or order management systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing small teams

Preferred

  • Background in LCL and container shipping
  • Experience with import/customs compliance
  • Familiarity with UPS, USPS, and freight carrier systems
  • Consumer goods or building products industry experience
  • Experience supporting trade shows or special events logistics
