Drywall Division Lead | Austin

I’m working on a rare opportunity with a growing contractor in Austin looking to bring in a senior leader to take ownership of their drywall division.

You’d be stepping in to:

• Lead and scale an established drywall business (~$5M+)
• Oversee precon, operations alignment, and hiring
• Drive growth toward $10M–$15M+ in a controlled, profitable way
• Act as the face of the division with clients and partners

Ideal background:

• 15–25+ years in drywall (subcontractor side)
• Progression through field → PM → estimating → leadership
• Currently a Chief Estimator / Precon Lead / Director-level profile
• Strong commercial mindset, not just volume-driven

This will suit someone who:

• Wants more ownership and influence
• Is comfortable stepping into a broader leadership role
• Values autonomy and the ability to build something properly

Austin-based. Strong market knowledge preferred.
