Hansen Search Group is actively interviewing for a DON role for a Skilled Care Facility in Omaha, NE. Candidate must have recent experience managing a skilled facility. Must be a RN. Responsibilities: - The DON provides administrative and clinical leadership for nursing staff to promote the delivery of high quality care. - The DON develops, revises, monitors and implements the department budget to promote appropriate resources. - The DON develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing department all while meeting regulatory compliance. - The DON serves as a nursing liaison with internal/external groups, residents/families, general public, and other health care providers. Qualifications: - Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, which must be in good standing. - Two (2) years of RN experience with at least one (1) year in long term care, home care, or related area. - Must have excellent interpersonal skills. - Possess the ability to make independent decisions and have the ability to prioritize duties. - Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
