Located in Greater Palm Springs with a thriving and rapidly evolving resort culinary scene, the Director of Food & Beverage is an integral member of the Leadership Committee, guiding the continued elevation of the property following its successful transformation from Regency to Grand. With the multimillion‑dollar renovation now complete, this role plays a key part in shaping the next chapter of the resort’s culinary identity.
The Director will lead the vision and performance of the resort’s reimagined dining venues, including ongoing collaboration with celebrity Chef Angelo Sosa on Tia Carmen, the Southwest‑inspired signature restaurant, and Carmocha, an upscale lounge featuring curated cocktails and eclectic indoor‑outdoor dining across the campus.
This position also oversees the enhanced recreation and poolside culinary experiences, including Vista square kitchen and The Well our two exquisite poolside dining options, HyTides Waterpark—the largest recreation space in the desert—and Palmadoro, the nostalgic, destination‑inspired airstream offering fresh and playful culinary options.

The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing and leading all F&B operations, including Restaurants, Lounges, Market, Pool Venues, Banquets as well as our Recreation department (inclusive of lifeguards).
Duties include:
The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $175,000. This is the pay range for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
• F&B Director experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
• 6 years or more of progressive resort Food and Beverage experience
• With opening resorts, previous resort pre-opening experience preferred
• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
• At least 5 years experience in a senior role in a food and beverage environment
• Proven leadership skills
• Resort/Hospitality degree an asset
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
• Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
