A growing manufacturing organization in the greater Nashville area is seeking a Director of Finance to join its leadership team. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, improve reporting capabilities, and support operational decision-making across the business.

This is a highly visible role with broad exposure across FP&A, financial modeling, treasury forecasting, and executive reporting. The position offers the opportunity to build and modernize reporting processes while helping leadership better understand key business drivers.

What you’ll do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and strategic modeling initiatives
• Partner with executive leadership to provide insights that drive business decisions
• Develop and improve financial reporting tools and dashboards
• Support budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial analysis
• Provide insights on customer credit, profitability, and operational performance
• Present financial analysis and recommendations to leadership
• Help modernize financial reporting and analytics capabilities

What we’re looking for

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience
• Background in FP&A, corporate finance, or operational finance
• Manufacturing, industrial, or distribution experience preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance leaders
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
